Welcome on the Bratislava French School website !
       
Bratislava French school was founded in 2003. It was recognised by the French Ministry of Education in 2004 and since then has operated under agreement with the Agency For French Education Abroad (AEFE). The AEFE is a network of 253 French schools situated all over the world.
Bratislava French School is administered by a non-profit parent's association, the "Association pour une École Française à Bratislava" or AEFB.

The school's curriculum is based on French educational programs, with adaptations to the local context. The school puts an emphasis on multi-cultural exchanges and teaching of foreign languages from Kindergarten classes.
All teachers are fully qualified and have the accreditation of the French Ministry of Education. The school is inspected at least once a year by a representative of the French Ministry of Education.

There are currently approx 130 children attending the school from the first year of kindergarten (age 3) up to the College (age 14).
The French school shares the premises with a Slovak Elementary School and uses common facilities : gymnasium, tennis court, cafeteria, computer room, playground...

After-school activities are proposed daily such as : sport, theatre, arts and craft, dance, music, tennis, supervised homework...


School fees for 2009/2010 are 3.800 € for Kindergarten (3 to 5) , 4.300 € for Elementary (6 to 10) and 5.150 € for College (11 to 14). There is a special fee for College when paid by a company, please consult us.

There is a registration fee of 200 € for the very first registration.

Scholarships can be awarded based on family revenues.
